In his infinite love, he would have us rest in him. William John Butler, Founder of CSMV
The Guest Wing offers comfortable accommodation for both individuals and groups, coming either for a day or for a longer stay.
There are 20 bedrooms available, and although they are not en-suite, there is a ground floor en-suite bedroom for those with special needs. Also available within the Guest Wing is a small flat with en-suite facilities and a small oratory. Those visiting for a personal quiet day are also given a room.
Additional facilities include a small library, a dining room, an informal quiet room, an art room, a computer room and other designated areas. There are also rooms available for meetings and small conferences. Tea and coffee are readily available.
The main meal is normally in the middle of the day, supper being a lighter meal. Vegetarian options or special dietary requirements are catered for when known in advance. The meals are simple, in keeping with the life of the Community.
Certain parts of the Convent grounds, including the water garden, are available for guests to spend time resting and reflecting there. The Guest Wing includes a small area selling books, cards and other items.
