Purification

He sits, the purifier
And refiner of silver,
Purging humanity’s metal
By fire. I try to remain
Still under his hand,
To accept separation,
Removal of dross, whatever
Promotes inner and outer
Purification. Submission
Leads to clear perception
Of his beauty, though it take
A lifetime to reflect it.
