6 years ago, in the months before Sr Lizzie Ruth entered Religious Life, she made a series of YouTube videos. These videos documented her journey from being a working person living in a rented flat to the day she entered a convent. She also used this platform to answer questions about Religious Life that she was frequently being asked. She hoped that others, being able to see someone nearer their own age exploring this vocation and being able to watch someone going through this process, would be helped and inspired to look at Religious Life themselves. Once she entered Religious Life there was a long pause of almost 6 years in her video making. Over these years, however, thousands of people have discovered and watched her videos and Sr Lizzie Ruth has learned subsequently that they have indeed inspired others to explore Religious Life. The majority of the viewers of her videos have not known all this time which Community she has settled in. Now that she is a Sister Under Promise, Sr Lizzie Ruth has been given the go ahead to resume her YouTube video making.
