Reflecting on the Image of God
A Conducted Quiet Day at St Mary’s Convent
With Fr Christopher Woods, Oxford
“For in him all the fulness of God was pleased to dwell.”: Reflecting on the image of God and how that divine image flows into creation, the Church, and our own lives.
The Church teaches us that Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. It can sometimes be hard to fully identify with God because of his transcendence. This is why Christ became one of us so that we can reflect on his face and his humanity in order to be drawn more fully into God’s love. We will explore how God’s fullness can flow into our lives, our prayer, our relationships, our ministries by meditating more deeply on the face and humanity of Christ.
