The Service of Blessing for the Blessing of Sister Elizabeth Jane as Sister in Charge and her Sisters, was a very joy-filled occasion. Held on 8th September it was also the Feast of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary which was very fitting for a Community dedicated to St Mary. We were blessed to have our Bishop Visitor Sarah Mullally to preside and preach, assisted by our Warden Fr Toby Wright. It was wonderful too, to hold this service in St Mary’s Chapel and to be joined by our Staff, Trustees, Oblates, Associates, Clergy and friends. Afterwards we enjoyed a delicious Simple Lunch together in the Maribel Centre.
