The Quiet Day Betwixt St Francis and St Luke is now available on this website.
The Revd Angela Butler leads the virtual day, which can be accessed between now and mid November.
Using St. Francis’ Canticle of the Sun as inspiration for three talks, she reflects on how so much of what he includes has been the experience of the Bible writers and particularly in the ministry of Jesus.
“As this Quiet Day now falls during an ongoing time of pandemic, my personal experiences of lockdown and beyond will inevitably feature quite strongly,” says Angela. “But I am inviting people to prayerfully meditate on how God uses creation to awaken or challenge us and how that might play a part in healing our inner lives and our world at this strange time.”
The day, organised by the Associates of CSMV, is open to all and is free. It is being delivered through video and downloadable resources.
