Heavy lifting equipment was on site at St Mary’s Convent recently to move pre-formed arches into position.
The arches are the striking architectural highlight of the new welcome area for the Convent. It’s the first stage of a major refurbishment and build on site which is schuduled to be completed in 2020.
Bishop Sarah Mullally, the Bishop of London and Episcopal Visitor to CSMV, was on site to see the transformation and accompanied Sister Stella on a visit to the work in the North Wing.
